Reflecting on our time at the 2026 Property Developer Shows

Reflecting on our time at the 2026 Property Developer Shows

Throughout 2026, Catalyst proudly sponsored and exhibited at six Property Developer Shows across England. From Bristol, London and Southampton to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, each event gave our sales team an opportunity to connect with developers, investors and property professionals from across the industry.

Alongside exhibiting, members of the Catalyst team delivered keynote presentations at several events. Our Sales Director, James Farge, presented “Make lenders choose you: How to position your deal for the best bridging finance offers.” At the final show of the year, Senior Lending Manager, Andy Gray also took to the stage to share his expertise and insights with attendees in Leeds.

James Farge, Sales Director, commented:
“The Property Developer Shows have been a fantastic platform for us this year. Across all the shows we’ve attended, we’ve made over 1,600 new contacts, generated 47 qualified leads and delivered more than £20m in term lending.

Beyond the business opportunities, the biggest highlight has been meeting ambitious developers, sharing knowledge through keynote presentations, and seeing the strength and resilience of the developer community, despite the challenging economic climate.”

Dave Edwards, Regional Lending Director, added:
“The Southampton show was a real highlight for me this year. As our home show, it gave us a great opportunity to meet local developers and property professionals face to face. I came away with several valuable new contacts who we would not have met without exhibiting at the show.”

Sam Shand, Senior Lending Manager, says:
“The shows have provided an excellent opportunity for us to speak with a wide range of investors, developers and other property professionals. As a lender, we are well positioned to add value to most conversations while also gaining valuable insight into market trends, opportunities and challenges. Given the benefits and opportunities generated by these events, we plan to attend all shows in 2027.”

Joshua Baldock, Internal BDM, added:
“I made some good connections by meeting potential borrowers at the shows. My favourite was the London event, as it was my first. It was a great opportunity to learn the ropes, get involved and see how many people are beginning their property investment journey.”

As the 2026 event season comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who visited our bright yellow stand, attended our keynote presentations and took the time to speak with our team. We look forward to returning in 2027 and connecting with more property professionals.
